We were busy today!

Happy Wednesday! We had a very busy day today.  On Monday, we mixed up our special "crystal" solution to see if we could grow crystals.  Look below to see what we discovered this morning!

We have 16 containers.

We discovered that the crystals need lots of air to grow!
 These haven't grown much!

After we completed our morning work, we were surprised with a visit from three baby ducks and a baby chick!  We also watched a computer video of one of the ducks hatching.  Did it ever look hard to hatch from an egg!

We talked about the differences between a baby
chick and a baby duck.

After we all were able to touch or hold one of the baby ducks, we watched them swim.  They like to splash!!!

The most tasty part of the day was our cinnamon rolls made with crescent rolls, butter and cinnamon sugar.  Crescent and cinnamon make the two sounds of "c" (k and s).  They were DELICIOUS!

We added buttercream frosting after we
baked them.

YUM! YUM!

As you can see, we had a wonderful Wednesday!
